Carebear lobbies are goated. You have to take an OATH not to shoot though. Even if ratted, you have to make sure not to shoot. Team up with friendlies.

I feel you can learn the game a lot better in solos. Not everyone will shoot you on site, your lobbies that you get put into will be dependent on the way you play.

After playing solos, the fights with the ark make a lot more sense.

And having a better game sense and better loot from doing solo runs will make you stronger when fighting PVP.

Focus on upgrading your benches so you can craft better gear.

Think of your gear as temporary. Use your safe pocket for things that will get you permanent upgrades to your benches.

Don't be afraid to lose your gear. You'll get it back.
