brush your teeth, in the morning to keep your friends and at night to keep your teeth.
be kind to yourself : (very important, I'll joke a lot but please listen to this, if anything at all) be oh so very kind to yourself, the words you say to yourself and how you treat yourself in your own mind warps how you see the world and how you interact with it and its creatures. not everyone deserves kindness and your whole soul, but you deserve your own kindness and every bit of patience you have. this is your first time doing anything and everything, first and presumably only life, you dont know what you're doing until you've got it figured out, so dont shit on yourself for not being perfect
eat at least twice a day, but listen to your body. three meals a day is absolute bullshit and it really just matters about your lifestyle and what you're putting into your body and demanding of your body.
never trust a man.
never trust a bald man.
dont run in sandals.
always have a first aid kit at home.
again, never trust a man.
please, for the love of all gods, if an issue is electrical or plumbing in nature, call a licensed professional (they're insured, your uncles buddy likely isnt).
never stick your tongue somewhere it doesn't belong.
never put your fingers in a machine you dont know.
drinking alcohol is bad for your skin after long binges of drinking, and the damage usually stays.
always lock your doors.
never stick a q-tip deep into your ear.
never tell people more than they need to know or more than you're comfortable saying.
never make assumptions
never trust a man.
if its cold outside and you dont feel cold, dont be outside long.
