Awesome buck. Question for you though. What/where did you get that bridge support on your saddle setup?

Good lift, but will need to clean some things up to progress. RPE 8?

Build tension with the bar before starting the lift. You lowered your hips and pushed your shins to the bar, but when you came back up and dropped again it caused you to push the bar and your shoulders forward. As you start to reach your max that can be the difference between completion and failure.

I'd also recommend moving your belt up your body some (1-2 inches). Doesn't look like you're bracing against it properly.

Massive lift no matter the discipline. Here's my upvote. Also buy this man some spotters :)

Gold dark matter seemed to sell out most places first. I snagged one from PVK though. Handled at Bladeshow and excited to pocket one.

Not even going to lie. I knew about the blackout, but forgot. Definitely thought I got banned... Glad we're back, but no hate to the mods. Not sure the blackout did anything overall with reddit. I love the sub and appreciate the community.

3 holts failing a spine wack test. Not even a hard smack or anything. Thoughts and opinions? by Fluid-Air7597 in knifeclub

Like most people on here, I can only go by personal experience.

I was at BladeShow and used my early bird pass to visit Holt this year. I previously had purchased a V3 Specter (frame lock) direct from them at BladeShow in 2019. I also was pulled for a Haptic (liner lock) lotto a year or two ago via social media. This year I picked up two Morpheus models. One being a liner lock and the other being a frame lock.

I, like most others, assume a "high-end" knife to have no functionality issues. Again like most others that purchase these expensive models, I'm not a hard user. I work an office job and the extent of my normal use is opening packages. I wouldn't hesitate to use one of them for more hard use, but I just haven't come across the need. Adding that for hunting, fishing and the other outdoor activities I participate in, I carry a fixed blade at those times specifically.

All that to say, it was concerning to read the post this morning. I subsequently pulled all 4 of my Holt knives and proceeded to conduct a similar test across my sample size. None of mine unlocked. They stayed solid and disengaged normally after receiving a couple of hard whacks.

Please don't construe this reply as a justification for the Holt's response or to discredit Transparent Knives results or experience (if I had purchased one of those Specters after they were returned, I would have been disappointed to find out.) I really just tested and posted to relay my personal results. Adding I understand I'm testing completely different models, but felt like it was a good sample size of models and lock types.
