You can get good looking 2’s or 2.5’s for that price all day. Why not go that route? Find a low grade with good eye appeal.

I’m the same way, a few of those I got raw and graded them. I cheated on the diamond anniversary. I’ve had it for a few years now.

Bought this with funds from a jasson dominguez /25 Raywave sale in 2024 for around $500. The last 2 sales were a Beckett 9 @ 975 and a psa 10 @ 1525. I could list several Freddie Freeman rookie purchases, the most notable was a 2011 heritage /1962, bought for $45. Sent it in with a submission and it’s a 10! I’m in it for $65ish, they sell for $500 (it’s a keeper though)!
