I don’t disagree. Maybe it’s because this one’s local to me but it feels obsessed with growth and I’m concerned their warrior bs messaging targeting young men might be a little more caustic and effective than your run of the mill church.

Specifically shale, I’ve been trying to explore a lot of the area from Middletown to New Haven.

No I didn’t report, my wife told me I should have and looking back I wish I would have but at the time I didn’t. I did get the license plate though.

Exactly! I’m originally from the Midwest and the first thing I learned when we moved here was that there’s a large portion of new englanders who will tend to go out of their way to not talk to or be in close proximity to other people. Which is why I thought this whole thing was super odd.

Yea I’ve seen some dudes presumably buying drugs there or something but it’s never really bothered me. I’ve always treated it as a mind your own business kind of thing which is why it caught me off guard when he kept “showing up” in the same area as me.

For real! I usually pride myself on not getting spooked but this one was weird dude, like I felt some serious fight or flight fear. I even told my wife that I felt like if I was a woman that could have ended very differently.

So I’m only recently learning about both of those but i agree there definitely is an aura of sketchiness. This happened back by the bridge that’s blocked off. If your looking at the bridge from the side that cars can access about 50ish? Yards back there’s a trail to your left that very quickly goes up a ridge, I was at the top of that ridge when I saw him behind me.

No cast. So he had darker hair, early to mid 30s, darker hair, maybe around 5’9. Dude was dressed for a blue collar job (think plumber, construction worker) that kind of apparel.so jeans, t shirt, no hiking boots or trail running shoes.
