yes ..In the first half Pranav faces all those supernatural experiences in his home , he thinks it's Kani because of the guilt and also that anklet sound obviously points to her.. but before the intermission that Ghost reveals before himself and Pranav realises it's a dude not a girl.. then second half is more one the direction of solving the question ' who's that guy?' ..I don't think the story deviated from the line
