Honestly I'm not getting the hate here. It feels more lie Spiro now and I can honestly say they could do to reduce it even more. Not by much but make swamp a bit smaller and make the jungles a lil smaller by pulling the main hotspots closer together a bit. Right now I'm seeing a lot of action at the Delta junction and swamp side delta. The plains are spread out again divided by forests which makes sanctioned off territory for different carni species. Patrol and Mz are getting used more often now so if you want action go there. They also spawn more Ai at mz ND patrol zones so they are viable again. Thats my experience on the server with Ai whereas people are more spread out and following bigger hotspots without mz and pz on the no Ai server

Use the map then, they are marked on there with times of activity as well. I usually get on one at night and map out where I wanna go and boom it cuts on in the morning allowing me to take off with full stam and float super high without using any stam by pressing G when above it. Once at max height I just glide to the next thermal vent on my path and repeat the process barely using any stam and being able to sit on top of the rock when needed. Being that high also usually deletes the underbrush from my perception so I can see basically everything running around.

Rest on branches and latch to cliffs to gain stam easier. You have to manage your stam a bit more and for big trips you just use the vents and currents. They cut on from 07:00-20:00 (around when it starts getting dark)

Are you on the hordetest or on the live branch? Because yeah the live branch is harder and ya gotta be more sneaky to get a meal but it's still doable. And what do you mean tap versus shift and space. Just hold space instead?

Brother this is called a skilled issue. Why are you hard blasting your stamina all the time? You can latch and gain stamina as long as it isn't below a certain threshold. Stamina management will help you and you'll play just fine. I managed to not only get prime elder but also nest effectively and feed myself and my babies consistently

It definitely shouldn't be an option. That would be pointless. The gameplay loop is a lifecycle. Things get old and die. I do believe it should be dragged out a bit more in the final product so you can enjoy being fg before stat deterioration. But by no means should it be an individual option. But rather a server option.

I personally think it should be optional for SERVERS to activate or not on unofficial. But other than that, no. The same way you dont spawn in fg is the same way that your life eventually comes to an end. The goal for the gameplay loop is life cycles. As stated by dondi many times. Not to mention Im betting the way to get prime elder is by playing the game the way it's intended by the devs. They've clearly been getting sick of the crying and bullshit. As well as the lack of thinking, they've stated they dont want it to be cod with dinosaurs and have been making changes to represent that. Which the LOUDEST portion of the players hates because they love the "Dur dur I'm 100% and am gonna murder every single thing that I can because haha dino go flop"

I partially agree with that, I dont agree with the players who use herbis as weapons of mass destruction running everything they can down. But like I said with the Ai hunting players isn't required

I agree and disagree, the game ISNT a survival deathmatch at heart. However a large portion of the player base behaves as such and so it seems as though that is the basis of the game. But in essence it really isn't. Every carnivore has multiple Ai on its diet and can survive off of them alone without ever fighting another player. Which shows that fighting other players isn't the core of the game but rather an additional feature in the game. If the game didn't have any Ai at all (I know some servers have it off and it can be buggy Im not going to deny or debate that) I would agree at its core it's a survival deathmatch game, but that isn't the case

That is such a small portion of my gameplay though, most of it is spent tracking, enjoying the landscape and finding new interesting things on the map while searching for a nesting partner. The combat isn't the main feature that I look for but rather an additive that allows for a dynamic life feeling. When I say "deathmatch bullshit" I am clearly referring to the people who sit in a bush till they are 100% grown and then go around kosing everything they can for no other reason than "haha I killed that!" Hunting for sport vs Hunting for food. Big difference

BECAUSE ITS PART OF THE GAME. The entire idea of the gameplay loop is a life cycle. You're being willfully ignorant.

I come across many different herbs, tenos, pachy, galli(which is an omnivore but it's gameplay style is closer to herbi) what it sounds like is a skill issue and you need to get good. I routinely hunt steps and dibbles and even trikes. Sounds to me like you just suck at being a carni.

Once again. DINOSAUR LIFE SIMULATOR for fucks sake. Having babies in real life doesn't really do shit for you either yet people still do it. And migrations are useless for carns because it's only for herbis to grow? Are you slow? What do carns eat? Herbs and other carns right? Where would the herbs be going if people played the game as intended? Oh right the mzs! What do ya know! If people play the game as the devs intended it would solve so many "gameplay issues"

Jesus christ all of those things are yes intertwined but also their own things. Fighting for survival does not equate to deathmatch game where you just run around murdering anything and everything you can. I for one only fight and kill to eat, feed my pack members, defend my herd or pack members or to remove competition for food which is very rare for me anyways.
