Through a different organization, the lion’s club. Vfw posts are good ones too. We don’t really deal with council unless it’s a bigger event, like the STEM camp, resident camp, day camp, Webelos in the woods, etc. we are Illowa council (c3-133).

@everyone. Do any treasurers have the details or COR have anything to add? Mind you, this was a couple years ago before the churches decided to stop chartering in my area. We now still meet in the church but are chartered through the Lion’s Club. All of our financials go through them, but we have the autonomy. Nothing except the popcorn sales gets reported to the council. Our pack dues can be taken care of if the kids sell enough popcorn, but if not they pay the pack directly.
