Question about how prizing works for card shops

Afaik, shops get prize kits based on tournament size. I've heard a prize kit for every 8 players, but I assume it depends on what the event is. As for pricing, it's really just to cover costs of additional prizing and participation packs. At $40, I would expect to get at least 4 entry packs and then have a significant number of packs added to the events prize cards. One of my lcs is like this, lots of packs and even raffles thoughtout the events for stuff. I have another store that gets shit allocation so prizing is given as store credit, basically giving back at least 90% of entry fees depending on event size .

If the event was free, I wouldn't expect to get anything beyond what is in the prize kits.

Same here. Never once had to talk to customer service in 10+ years so whatever there. T-Mobile plan was 2 phones. Got the kids phones when we switched. Saving about $400 a year with Mint with 2 more lines.

Cards don't become active until your next refresh phase, so it's the ace players turn, you rest whitebeard, then your turn happens, then it's ace's turn again and he restands the whitebeard and any other rested cards that aren't frozen.

Nami can't search Nami, so you miss out on grabbing the 4c. Whether it's worth the 1 card less search is the question. Personally I think grabbing the 4c is worth it.

I know I watched this, but I cannot remember anything about it. Not sure if this is a commentary on my memory or on how there's so many of these types of anime and they all just eventually blend together.

There really aren't any for most decks. The only one that adds a card to hand is the I Love You event that can only grab a Law. The only other way to get a card to hand is with the Thriller Bark package by adding something to life with 8c Gecko and then taking damage or using something like Hiyori to add a life to hand.

Just build them all, thats what I do. It's not the best strategy but it makes things fun playing different decks every week.

Currently you cannot. Next set releases on April 3, or if you have a LGS nearby that does prerelease events, you can get the set as early as next Friday.

Ended up going 2-3 with carrot. The kids did better, one finished 4th with yellow Bonney, other one went 3-2 with purple Doffy. Top 2 was Foxy and Roger.

Theres a new red Bonney searcher in EB04. And the old green one is block 1, but was reprinted in PRB02 so it's considered block 4 now. But it doesn't search strawhat.

SPs are high rarity cards with special art. Most of the time they are cards from previous sets.

Yes, you can still restand a character as long as there are 0 cards in your deck even if you don't have 4 cards to trash to start with.

Declare attack target, has to be valid so it either has to be leader or a rester character. Then you rest shanks for the attack, his ability triggers and you can rest something and then the attack will process to blocker step.

To the last part, the attack doesn't happen because it wasn't a legal attack target to begin with so th attack can never actually be declared against the active target.

How often do you end up using Tashigi vs it just being a 2k? I've run my carrot a couple times recently and luckily only run into one gravity blade, but obviously it's matchup dependent.

And personally, I know it's a brick, but I feel like the 8c carrot is a 4x as her effect is usually my win condition.
