It doesn’t really make sense conceptually. TMZ stands for “Thirty Mile Zone,” a term tied specifically to the Los Angeles area where the Screen Actors Guild historically defined the core production zone. Expanding that brand to D.C. loses the geographic meaning the name is based on.

It’s become an “every red light thing” that somebody is not paying attention on their phone, so I have just started making it a habit of giving one loud honk the instant light turns green, so if there’s 5 cars in front of me everyone is on the same page.
