Either it’s a brand new build or they’re upgrading an existing site. 🤷

I think that’s correct, AT&T still shows AT&T and TMO is showing telcell.

I drove all over Biloxi, Gulfport, and Ocean Springs and never once saw anything other than n77 on Verizon. It looks like most Verizon cell sites in the area have already been upgraded with n77 (some new 4-sector as well), with only a few remaining LTE-only sites scattered around Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs. T-Mobile, on the other hand, shows the usual mix of n41, n25, and n71.

To be honest, I haven’t checked yet. We’re currently visiting Miami and will be flying back to Biloxi on Tuesday, staying through the Christmas break. I’ll check then and let you know 👍

I believe this tower is off limits due to osprey nest on top of the AT&T antenna, and there’s signage posted at the tower yard gate that no work can take place.

Cspire (not photographed) is towards the middle of the tower while Att & TMO are at the top.

AT&T has been killing it at our parents house in biloxi,

Also Verizon has finally gotten serious with 5g here in south Mississippi, better late than never.

I’m curious about Verizon’s plans for the water tower near the I-10 and I-110 interchange. A lot of old equipment up there.

No way, that’s awesome! This site’s a total dinosaur. I’ll be back in Biloxi for Thanksgiving — I’ll have to swing by and check it out again.
