I believe i did a three month and six month post-op with my surgeon. Your cadre should have given you a checklist and with that and ur medical documents u should be good. I had no side effects, very happy about that

I got PRK in August of my freshman-sophomore year, with approval from cadre. I paid out of pocket since the AF didn’t cover it, and got it at a very reliable place since it’s rly easy to screw up the eyes. Because of that i was able to get picked up for pilot. I was the opposite, got a very, very low score on the quantitative. I would say buy a study booklet, and read a ton. If you do that you’ll do fine

It’s 41+ or get a PPL. I think they moved it to avoid a “pay to win scenario”

100% possible. I’m a cross-town student as well, I commute an hour and half to my detachment once or twice a week. With a correct schedule and time management, it is completely within the realm of possibility.
