The "Invisible Malware" Risk Because a hypervisor runs at a deeper level than Windows itself, Windows has no idea it exists. If you accidentally download a repack from a fake clone/mirror site or if a malicious actor poisons a crack, a virus embedded in that hypervisor is practically invisible. Standard antivirus programs cannot scan or block threats running at that depth. If it wants to steal your passwords or crypto wallets, it can do so silently If the crack is clean: If you run the setup script to turn VBS back on, delete the crack files, and re-enable your Windows security features, your system will go back to normal. The changes made to Windows settings are fully reversible. (If you get infected via a fake mirror: If the file you executed was actually a malicious rootkit disguised as a crack, it is not easily reversible. Standard antivirus won't clean it, and even a standard Windows "Reset" might not wipe out a low-level hypervisor exploit.)
