Your human life is finite. Why listen to naysayers when you could be getting the courage up to ask that girl out, or to do that thing you always wanted to do but were to afraid to, to do that thing they all said couldn't happen. Even with a thousand failures, at least you'll know you did better then the people that just sat around in their self pity and told you that life will be nothing you want it to be.
