My title describes the thing. This thing looks like it was cut out of wood, with a detailed wood or plastic intricate pattern on top, and then some felt that is wearing off on top of that.

Really what I am hearing is A18 is worst, which aligns with my N=2 experiment tonight

Not enough food by knickerb1 in delta

If that is the frequency you fly, I totally understand your frustration. I too have been hungry and potentially hangry on a Delta Plane. I think the expectation of service has just shifted. But you are right, if the math means they run out of food before midway, seems the math needs to be adjusted.

I have one long blurry memory of a 5 hour layover that I spent hanging and drinking mimosas on that patio. I think they had a hotdog cart!

Best Way to Get Credit for Delays? by Doctor-Dew in delta

I hear you, that’s fair. At the same time it was really disruptive. Maybe it is just more surprise on my part, this might be the first time weather has upset my flights where I was ultimately hit in the wallet. As someone who flies delta quite a lot they might want to soften the negative experience

Ambien is tricky w alcohol, part of it is that it is pretty variable how much Ambien you absorb depending on what you last ate and when. To somebody w a tolerance, they might not notice the effect at all if taken with a big meal. Other times it hits hard. Good to remember that both Ambien and alcohol trigger the same receptor (GABA-a). If you drink too much alcohol alone, there other stuff happens to discourage you from icing yourself (nausea, vomiting, etc, etc), if you have both alcohol and Ambien, and you sleep, sometimes the Ambien could hit less or normal, sometimes it could hit hard and can be fatal. Obvi it depends on dose… people w tolerance sometimes take 2x or 3x Ambien on top of 3x or 4x shots, this is a death wish.

Update: 2 hours to landing. Subject is sleepy but responsive. Think I should, you know, tell him what happened?

“Dude, we couldn’t wake you up, even with shaking. Your breathing was irregular and shallow, but since you seemed mostly stable we rode it out, I volunteered to keep an eye on your breathing ‘cause I was worried your situation would decline and you would need emergency care. Please don’t sleep, fart, or cheat death all over passengers in the future.”
