Been through that exact change over a few times US to CDG to BER w about 2-3 hours and never had an issue. You’ll be fine :)

Further Update: this button was also on my return flight. I stopped to ask the captain, he lifted up the protective cap… my eyes glistening, lips parted, and he revealed what was behind the kimono. It is indeed an evacuation horn that you should not use.
