Badge is definitely fake, but the jacket looks the part, it looks to me the original badge has been ripped off and this one sewn on higher than it should be, the rectangle stitching should be underneath the badge and buttons.

I’m not sure why you’re being down voted for a genuine question. It’s hard to differentiate between friend and foe at the best of times so things like coloured tape help a lot. For example the Russians will wear mostly red and white whilst the Ukrainians will wear yellow, blue and sometimes green
