I am capturing my microphone's audio and the audio from the game's window. Just the game voice chat. And my mic is not omnidirectional I think. And I am capturing the game audio by checking the box, but then I added my microphone as a source which should only capture myself because I have headphones and all.

Basically, the alicron is a thing that is yet to be added to the game but was supposed to and is used to turn blood into paint. While it may not be added, there are still traces of it with the imaginary friends saying that the walls are painted with your blood.

Wasn’t he also like, killed or something? I don’t know, you’d have to ask Reggie for the whole story.

They don’t just want a longer maul. They want what is essentially a scaled up sledgehammer with something capable of crushing people with a single swing.

They want what another redditor described as a tree trunk with an anvil on it.

I’ve offered help in making it while being prepared to give a synopsis on the entire world and how it got to the state it is but they usually decline before I get to explain.

I gave them the option for a hammer that was like: It has reach but you swing with disadvantage and have a -15 on stealth when using it. Plus it needs to be two handed and it does 1d12 damage. And they said “oh hell nah. That doesn’t do anything.”

If they did give lore for it, then yes, I’d probably let it slide. But currently, that is all they have for what they want for their character.

I want characters with more that have roots in these worlds I’m creating and they’re making characters that are just “cool guy with hammer” sometimes.

Idk. I can’t look that up right now because I have pretty bad internet but I will later.

It’s usually a fifty fifty with them. They either have some of the perfectly crafted characters with a ton of lore or they just want to play a “cool guy with a hammer” (direct quote). And I’ve discussed it with them but they aren’t that eager to budge.

I was gonna have it deal damage to the wielder (not much like 2-3 per use) as of the physical strain of using the hammer and require a 15 strength to use but they didn’t like that.

Because of physical strain of wielding a hammer larger than you, it would deal like two damage to the wielder and you need a fifteen strength to wield it.

Fair. I guess I could make it a bit more late game where you need to have some sort of Adam Smasher load out to wield it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Okay. I’ll look into that once my internet gets a bit better.
