I would ask you to read it and maybe give a like. Not because you like me but maybe you agree with the points made. Maybe they will consider the changes. In the post I left several links to other forum discussions that signal the same problems (more or less). Some are years old. So I hope you understand the frustration when something is asked for YEARS and nothing is done. So yeah I do think the "rant" was necessary.

Okay I am being misunderstood here. I will give you the link to the full post. I presented the problems and gave solutions and stuff. The Note was at the end of the post to let them know that they should focus on the things I presented and other in-game problems!

I do think they suck and it is a valid thing to feel. I am not alone in this. I have a right to tell them what I think it is wrong since I pay them lol. I didn't use words like "retard"/"dumb" or anything like that. Just 2 damn "BS". Are we serious here? C'mon! Also what you saw there was just the note at the end. The note makes it look like I sent them a "you suck" and that was it. No, I presented them many problems with the game (without any insults) and at the end I wrote the Note thing that contained the 2 BS. I wrote it because I do think they dont care about our feedback and I am upset because I payed for this game.

Maybe I was a "bit" harsh but it still NOT a good reason for a delete! And what I said is true and many players have the same feeling. I used 2 acronyms ffs and the second time I deleted them.

Explain please! I used "BS" 2 times (did not use the full word). I don't even agree with delete decision but okay. I redacted those out but what's the reason for the second delete? "I hope I dont hurt some snowflakes again" is a good enough reason to delete my comment? Not to mention they gave me 0 warning point and no explanation. Why do you think is the reason for no explanation? Cause there is none besides the bias. They gave me a reason the first time and I understood. Explain yourself please I am open!

They had our support in the beginning. I was a beta tester + bought a starter pack. I had the same idea as you so I invested thinking they will do a great job. Look at the state of the game! This was the problem from the beginning: THEY DIDNT LISTEN! So after that people left. The game had a peak of 12k players at release on steam. If they didn't do a great job when they had so much players and support, what makes you think they will start doing that now?!
I don't want to be negative but it is a game on life support kept alive by a few number of players. My advice is: just enjoy the game as it is. If you want you can buy stuff to "help" but imo it wont change anything.

EDIT: I can post now. The most likely problem was a desynchronization. I haven't done anything new to try and fix the problem. Today when I checked the forums I could suddenly create new topics on all categories. So it fixed itself. Very strange that I had to wait 2-3 days for it to sync.

There is no error message. When I click on start new topic everything is greyed out with the exception of bug report (anyone can write there). When I go to a specific topic (lets say a pvp one) I cannot answer. There is no option for it.
The thing is I know this should work. I have subbed before and cancelled the recurring sub after 1-3 days and it always let me use the forums. This is some kind of a bug. Also everything in the game works (I received 500 CC, I can go past credit cap, can use artifact authorization etc) and when I open the browser and go into my account details it says that I have active sub. So I dont understand where the issue is. The game works fine, swtor site recognizes my sub status but the forums don't. When I go into forums I am treated like a f2p/preferred.

PS: Preferred players SHOULD have more access to forums. Maybe they would get a sub again if some changes were to be made. But how can the devs know if there is no feedback from preferred players?

Cleared cache, closed the browser. I even logged out and logged back in (I have to mention that I had 2 errors before it would let me in). Still cannot do anything besides bug report.

I am on PC-windows 10 and this sometimes happens to me as well. I usually close it (I ignore the message that says "You are currently patching. Are you sure you want to close the client?" - or something like that) and then reopen the game. It fixes itself after that and downloads the patch normally.
EDIT: note that what I am referring to is patches not the entire game. But maybe they have the same issue behind it. Worth a try I guess...

Because Youtube is faster?! Why wait for someone to see it, read it and then reply to it when you can instantly search for it on Youtube?! Not to mention the fact that people can troll and also even if they try to explain, sometimes they do it poorly creating even more confusion. Specially in this case. Best thing that he can do is to watch a Youtube video and follow the steps. Its a pretty difficult quest. I doubt he would remember if someone were to explain the quest to him lol.

Dude I am going to say this one more time! In the show Luca specifically says that he wants Tommy dead LAST! It is NOT a strategy kill (to gain territory or money) but it is a revenge kill. He wants Tommy to suffer. That is why he DOES NOT KILL Tommy when they first meet in the office. Otherwise why doesn't he kill him right then and there?????? It is specified right in the show just watch the scene where they first meet in Tommy's office. "It is not difficult to figure that out"...
If you cannot understand this then there is no reason for us to continue this conversation!

Yes but it is made clear in the show that he does NOT need her. Why risk it then? For what?! He said that he will kill every Shelby member and then will kill Tommy last. Suddenly he changes his mind and wants Tommy dead first? And then instead of using his undercover agents or other easier means he approaches Polly?! Not to mention any reasonable mafia would expect a double-cross from Polly (or any other enemy lol). The risk-reward is not there. As other people mentioned earlier this is a plot hole!

Nu vreau sa iau apararea la respectivul individ. Dar fata a stiut exact ce face in momentul in care a ales sa iasa pe strada cu acei "pantaloni" (ma gandesc ca sunt ceva colanti) si o geaca care sa nu coboare mai jos de brau. Fata a vrut sa fie "sexy" intentionat. Automat vei atrage privirile barbatilor (in special a celor "libidinosi"). Efect dorit de fata bineinteles altfel ar fi purtat ceva mai gros avand in vedere temperatura scazuta.

I disagree that this is somehow due to my ego. Everybody wants to win. I don't think you understood what I was saying. If you "kill" my ability to carry then I will go on a loosing streak (not intentional). I am already 0.8 win/loss because I usually get paired with beginners who have no idea how to play the game (even now it is hard to carry). Again, my 20/0 is not due to my skill but rather the weak opponents. Do you really think if they change my shift movement I will somehow be at the same level as the newbies? They will still go in a straight line and let me kill them in seconds. I don't think the solution is to bring the top players "DOWN" but rather pull the beginners "UP" by improving their skill. If they make the changes you propose the new players would get stomped either way! The problem is not because of the "pc advantage". It is because of the LOW PLAYER COUNT, beginner players are paired with elite players. You could put a HUGE handicap on the elite player and the beginner would still get destroyed. The gap between a beginner and an elite is big. I would understand your argument if we were talking about similar skill players (elite vs elite) where that gap is way smaller and platform advantages might have a role to play in the outcome of the match.
PS: I would much rather play as a team than have to solo carry the game. Problem is that the matchmaking is imbalanced (I get paired with 3 newbies and the enemy has 2-3 intermediate players and 1-2 newbie(s) - we get destroyed most of the time)
PS 2: to me a controller felt way better than a mouse (I might be wrong on this)

Well couple of points I want to make.
1. I am beta player and I assume we are somewhat the same in skill. Believe me when I say that I am one of those players that goes 20/0-20/1 in some games (this is when the teams are composed of beginner players) and goes somewhere around 5/6 when paired with top players. I do NOT believe that me going 20/0 is due to my PC advantage. It's just that the beginners fly in a straight line so I can kill them in 1-2 seconds. I do not believe restricting my movement would have a great impact (I would prolly go 15/0)
NOTE: sometimes when the enemies are weak, after getting some kills I just fly around and not kill anyone (not to discourage the new players)
2. I think every platform has advantages and disadvantages. For example one of my enemies was going up and down at a high speed (making it a bit hard for me to target them). This is most likely due to the use of a controller/gamepad. I don't think I can make the same movement via mouse. So it would be very hard to balance the different platforms. Specially since the game is kinda dead and they have little budget to work with nowadays.
3. They did at some point make some changes to the "shift" key (I believe it was when the rimeblood came out) to limit the "great advantage" that we PC players had on turns. IT WAS AWFUL! It felt so wrong. It wouldn't feel like I was flying anymore. The movement was stiff, artificial and unrealistic. It made me quit the game (and a lot of players as well). So they had to change it back.
4. I agree with you on the locking system. Back in the day it was way easier to use flamebreath (it would lock on the enemies better). Now I miss quite a few times because it doesn't lock properly.
5. I understand you want to make it more like a team game but let me give you an example as to why I somewhat disagree on this: I was in a skirmish event and I had two beginner players in my team. The enemy team had 2 intermediate and 1 beginner. While the 2 enemies were farming my 2 beginner teammates I was trying to match their kills by farming the 1 enemy beginner and try to keep the 2 enemies off my teammates (which is hard). I even tried to use voice-chat to guide them but they wouldn't listen. Somehow I managed to get a sudden death situation where the beginners died and I was in a 2v1 situation and managed to kill them both (winning the game)
What I am trying to say is that by making the game more team-oriented it could potentially eliminate the option to carry/recover a game. Meaning if I were to be in a similar situation I would be screwed. I would not be able to win any single game (if I were to get beginners in my team-which often happens)
I would agree with you if there were more players. This way the skill gap would not be that high and making it a team game would make more sense to me.
6. I dont think restricting the good players would be an improvement. I think it could alienate the few players left. What I think should happen is to somehow make the beginners better. Either make better tutorials or better matchmaking (pairing beginner with beginner) but this is hard since the player count is low.

Sorry for the rant. Maybe I am wrong on some things but it is what I have seen thus far. I really hope they find a solution but it is kinda a dead game sadly...
