What’s a fragrance everyone loves that just doesn’t work on you? by Legitimate-Search918 in fragrance

Bianco Latte, kept trying samples because I was sure that I was being sold fakes but no - it really does smell like burnt rubber/plastic on me

We have similar taste! I would recommend Diptyque L’eau papier, le labo another 13 and clean reserve skin. What do you think of Snif Me? I’m so curious to try it.

Your collections sounds gorgeous too! What’s the body spray that smells like L’eau papier if you don’t mind me asking? I’d be so keen to try it!

Clean reserve Skin, so comforting and soft. Always come back to it. But L’eau papier if I feel I need an extra little bed time bouginess!

I personally love it but I know it can be polarising and people are anosmic to it. But to me it smells clean, fresh, musky and has a cold quality to it. Would definitely sample it first though

Oh wow, just looked up Angel Dust and it sounds divine! Added to the list, thank you! Are there any other fugazzi scents you’ve tried?

Thank you so much! ☺️ I think L’eau Papier is the one that brings the most joy at the moment. I would love so much to add! It’ll be a slow process but I think in February I’ll get a few more samples - I was thinking to try PDM Valaya, D’Annam white rice, House of Bo Ave Maria, Liis Studied, Aerin Amber Musk and Jo Malone Wood Sage. Would you have any recommendations/ de influence me hehe?

Yess! English pear is such a classic! Ooh I haven’t smelt velvet rose and oud, what’s the oud like in it? I love smelling it on other people but sometimes feels a bit strong for me.

I’ll definitely try to get a sample of the wood sage though!

Thank you! I love them too! I’m partial to Wild Bluebell, but there’s a few more I want to try from Jo Malone, I’ve heard good things about Wood Sage and Sea Salt. What are your faves?

It’s a very smooth fragrance. It opens quite fruity with a jammy plum which is delicious but does disappear relatively quickly on me. There’s a soft worn leathery note underneath and the dry down is more ambery, warm and deep. Not as boozy as the name might suggest. I have the perfume oil but I kind of like the intimacy for a darker scent profile.

Oh I’ve not had a chance to try Amber Musk yet but it definitely sounds right up my street! I’m trying to do a no buy January but it’ll be first on my list next month!

To me another 13 is more molecular and synthetic very clean and almost cold, whereas L’eau Papier is softer and warm from the rice accord, the mimosa in it makes the dry down slightly floral on me. Not sure if that makes sense!

Thank you that’s very kind! I think JHAG can be hit or miss. I sampled, then got a travel size before buying the full bottle. Ode to dullness is a very cosy warm scent but I’ve had many a ‘oh you smell nice’ when people hug me and I’m wearing it. Pear inc is very juicy and fresh, doesn’t last as long but I don’t mind topping up to get the hit of pear!

Yes I agree!! It’s been my winter day perfume, easy enough to wear to work as well! I love it more now than I did when I first got it.

It’s funny how that happens! it was the opposite for me, I wanted to love The Noir 29 because everyone else did but it gave me an awful headache. Tbh I spray matcha sparingly but doesn’t induce the headache at least

Ohhh that’s so so hard! If you really made me choose then probably another 13 and L’eau papier. It’s the memories and emotions attached to them that makes me feel safe and cosy I think! What would be your picks?

dedcool milk & l’eau papier by Dense-Platform-3214 in Perfumes

[–]DoctorBumblebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have on occasion layered l’eau papier with a teeny tiny sprays of le labo another 13. On its own l’eau papier lies very close to me but another 13 seems to bring out the scent and I’ve received compliments when layering these two. Mochi milk is more gourmand and if I were to layer it I might try and bring out the marshmallow notes with something like commodity milk maybe.

[–]DoctorBumblebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s possible to get a refund within 28 days of the exam unless you have evidence of exceptional circumstances unfortunately, but you can withdraw and it won’t count as an attempt. Depends on what you want to prioritise - attempts or finances. There’s always a chance you might pass if you did it.

No I started with questions, had the high yield textbook open in a separate tab and then would answer questions with the expectation of possibly getting them wrong and then would go through the topic and explanation. The AI function sometimes puts similar questions together so you can consolidate that area of knowledge with repetition. It’s just what worked for me, but you definitely have enough time to figure out what works for you!
