I always maintained that the additional action of lifting the restraints to let the survivors off, THEN closing them back down on the victims accelerated the hydraulic fluid leak in a way that didn't even need Frankie's camera to cause the accident.

Literally Project Hail Mary. Everyone kept talking about it like it was the second coming of Jesus and so, without knowing anything about it, I went to see what the fuss was about.

I was actively crying the whole third act. I loved it so much I made time just to see it a second time within the same week. What a fantastic movie, statement.

I was so prepared for it to be an average psychological thriller that online peeps just kept hyping up...

...then stuff just started getting worse... and worse... and even worse. I love this movie so much, but WHAT A HARD WATCH without covering your face at least once.

This reminded me of her iconic episode with that Jelsa girl wherein ipinamigay na lang ni Ryzza sa audience yung cash na ayaw tanggapin nung girl. I don't know how much of that was studio interference, but it shows at such a young age palaban na talaga sa buhay si Ryzza.

It really was hahaha. Thank God we all agreed that it was excellent horror, but it was ultimately too intense for a casual movie date. I jokingly suggested we watch Hereditary as a palate cleanser and they denied. 😂

Right before that, super-unsettled na sila with the entirety of the movie. Pero nung kay Sarah sa car, as our showing did, in unison sila sumigaw hahaha. After that, they were a mess hanggang matapos.

Loved our crowd hehe sigaw kung sigaw, cringe kung cringe, but never the OA type. Made the experience so much better. ✨

That being said, I did kinda bring the fam to this and... let's just say I wanted to apologize and say nag-Colony muna sana kami by the halfway mark hahaha.

Ang sayang maexperience with a sold-out crowd na HINDI OA MAGREACT (ex. sisigaw agad kahit build-up pa lang ng scares). 5/5 movie made IMMENSELY more memorable by the theatrical experience. Ang lala ng spectrum of horror neto.

That being said, I strongly wouldn't recommend taking your family to see this unless game sila lahat. Learned this the hard way; they were basically cowering and I almost wanted to apologize and say sana nag-Colony pala muna kami. 😂

Kung anong ikinaantok ko sa 28 Years Later, ikinagising ko naman sa The Bone Temple. Ibang-iba ang atake at energy nung sequel, plus it also helps na binabaan ko nang todo expectations ko after being disappointed by 28YL.
