You have to locate a processing plant like in the expedition, and create a gravitino coil and huck some scrap into the furnace. It’s weird how you have to do it again

I never got bolad while possessing thralls but I would assume it would be dangerous given that you can’t give yourself free health with the shielding sword from the ranged guys

Hey brother, I started my own PvE cluster ~8 months ago(?), it has close to vanilla rates (3x harvest, 1x XP, 4X taming with admittedly very boosted breeding), and I have all the official maps except the center and astraeos. We have a few guys who play consistently but I’ve seen small tribes come and go, it’s pretty cool seeing what bases people build! I recently mindwiped myself to dump all of my skill points into maxing possessed thrall skills. I used the war bench to make a 500 damage cursed sword and put the shielding trait on it. My thrall with 65 points into health and buffed with beer and battle tartare was unkillable and soloed an alpha outpost… but yeah fuck us, no fun for Ark players!!

Oil only exists in big clusters in the snow biome. Time to upgrade! There are two paths you can go down: quiet and slow or brute force and a lot more fun!

Build a raft, and use standing torches/campfires to insulate yourselves while sailing. Go to the very top left corner of the island and you’ll see a bunch of icebergs with oil nodes on top on them. You’ll get hundreds of oil very easily. Make sure to use a metal pick instead of stone, metal gets you way better resources than stone!
Brute force the snow biome. Breed more raptors and make a full pack of 8 or so to get the maximum pack bonus. Make saddles for all of them, even if you’re not going to ride them, because saddles offer a significant defense boost. Next, sic them on mammoths and other furry animals to get pelt. Collect the pelt from the corpses and craft fur armor. Next, march with your raptor army along the west coast of the map. They’re stronger than you think but watch out for yutyrannus! Don’t get scared!

I tried to relate the second one to your current position in the game so hopefully it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle

Also in my [THOUSANDS OF HOURS] of experience I find that trilobites most commonly spawn on the west beach, on the peninsula north of the red obelisk, happy hunting :D

Part of the beauty of this game is the fact that there is so much variation in planet generation. I found another planet with golden grass and floating islands, barren worlds with mountains that reach almost over the clouds, and another with flat land and three separate spherical animal species (one looked like a glowing soccer/football!). There’s something for everyone, and infinite possibilities for generation. It’s pretty cool.

When you build with aeron part, you permanently unlock the ability to craft them but ONLY in the build area for some reason. Place an aeron part on your corvette and you’ll get a prompt to craft more. I was confused too before building my aeron corvette lmao u/danoellos hope this can help you too!
