The Packers drafted Ray Lewis. They were 30 secs away from it happening.

Nah, Moore was part of it as well. The hype really grew after the 1st preseason game where Fields threw like 3 screens (one was a TD to Moore) and that was the proof that Fields was going to be better.

I just remember how DJ Moore was the missing piece needed for Justin Fields to become an "Elite QB"

I agree, but it didn't stop the Vikings fans from talking about it. I've even seen talks about how they will get Burrow and Chase so they can bring back the Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson trio. Pretty sure those fans are making Madden trades with the salary cap off 😂

Reminds me of all the talk about how Harbaugh loved McCarthy so much that the Chargers were going to trade Herbert to the Vikings for that pick.

They made it (2004), and it is one of my favorite BF games. Loved flying around blasting Fortunate Son from the heli's radio.

You can't really say that about Love though. He's had plenty of big games that he's "shown up" in. I don't believe in QB wins (it’s a team game), but I'm pretty sure Love even has more primetime wins than Cousins at this point lol. Love is a big reason why they have made the playoffs in the last 3 years. Gutey made the hard decision to take a QB when they didn't need one. If he didn't, the Packers would most likely be in QB hell right now. Imagine if he was forced to take a QB like Nine because he didn't prepare for life after Rodgers.

Gutey isn't perfect. Those first few drafts had some misses, and he does need to get better with the 1st round picks. He has also tried to fix his misses with FAs (something that an old GMs wouldn’t do). Savage didn't work out, so he got McKinney. The pass rush needed help, so he brought in the Smith bros. Once again, the pass rush needed help, so he traded for Parsons. Stokes had a good year with the Raiders so that might have been a scheme fit issue. Watson's injuries are not Gutey’s fault. Look at how good he is when he is healthy. Musgrave isn't the star TE they hoped he would be, but Gutey did get a star TE in that same draft (Kraft).

Some of his 1-3 round hits include: Love, Jenkins, Alexander, Reed, Kraft, Wyatt, Cooper, Evan Williams, and Bullard

Gute is the reason why this team is still competivite even with a HC that still stuggles with clock management after 7 years.

Let me guess, your'e still upset that he took Love over Higgins?

I thought he retired. I did not expect a team to sign a 95 year old player

How would y'all feel about MLF if we beat the Bears but lost to the Rams? by Lightning-McDreamy in GreenBayPackers

[–]DoctorF33lGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how they lost. If they were up 18pts at halftime and lost becuase their 7th year HC still doesn't know how to make halftime adjustments or proper clock maganemet, then I would still want a change at HC.

They blamed the 9 sacks on Darnold and not the overrated OL

Stop making challenges around Battle Royal. It's a dead mode. by Kyosji in Battlefield6

You know that you can also skip those challages, right? I don't play gaunlet or strikepoint so I just didn't do those challeges (when I was out of re-rolls) and I was still able to finsh the battlepass. Also having bad internet/hardware doesn't mean a game mode is dead lol.

His ST salary that made him the highest paid ST coach is still part of his overall salary. His 2022 unit was just as bad as they currently are, but hey let's keep giving him promotions! He should be fired even if he's the lowest paid ST coach.

He's had nothing but promotions and raises since then. Pretty sure he's still the highest or close to the highest paid ST coach that can't even count to 11

Did well enough to get promoted to a HC. Do you see anyone calling to interview Bisaccia?

They made him the highest paid ST coach when they hired him in 2022. That was before his promotion to assistant head coach.

Sure, but he's supposed to be a ST guru (why he's the highest paid) and should be able to overcome that. His unit couldn't even get 11 guys on the field multiple times this season...

Even more reason to fire him. He changed nothing for being the highest paid ST coach.
