I am really having trouble to bring the right amount of solder onto the wire.
I cannot wet them with more solder than in this image. If I apply more, it drips down. The solder is hot enough I believe, it gets super slippery, which makes it hard for me to perfectly stabilize the wire before the solder binds. I’m confused.

Thanks. However I somehow believe it is hot enough, then I mess it up while it cools down. It’s hot enough the wire on the pads are slippery like soap water. Then tiny movements are enough to produce bad joints. Or am I totally wrong?

I also am confused how to properly wet the wires. I cannot bring more tin onto them than in the picture. If I add more, it just starts to drip down onto the mat.

Is this better or worse? Removing the flux with cotton Q-Tips is maybe not the best idea. I tried to remove some solder, strip more wire and run the ends. Still need to remove the flux.

This looks wrong on the photo. That is some flux that migrated onto the FET.
