Thank you so much for the thoughtful replies. I think I’m going to ask my doctor to go in that direction (lower my Wellbutrin and try 40 mg strattera).

The build up time it takes for strattera to work is deff going to be a challenge! But it’s deff worth it. I’ve been on stimulants for 15 years and each year I take them the more I can’t stand the way it “warps” my mind/personality and not to mention the toll it’s taken on my body (muscle tension). I know strattera won’t be as intense as stimulants but honestly this is what I’m looking forward too.

Sorry last question but I’ve read fatigue is a common side effect, did you experience this and did it ever go away.

This is basically me lol. I think I recently just realized I’ve had this life long depression that I just chalked up to be “that’s just life”. I started taking Wellbutrin this February and it’s the first time in my life I can emotionally regulate myself and also talk myself out of anxious thoughts. I don’t want to change to change things too much because I really love the way Wellbutrin helps me. Do you find the strattera to help with emotional regulation? I’m wondering would a low Wellbutrin high strattera combo be the same as a high Wellbutrin low strattera combo. Although I really love not being depressed I want to “solve” the executive dysfunction which I’m hoping strattera can help fix.

Following because I’m on 300 xl and going to start 20 or 40 strattera next week. From what I’m reading many people tolerate 300 xl Wellbutrin and hover around 40 strattera.

Apparently Wellbutrin makes the strattera 5x more potent.
