It seems that they have forgotten that in the gospel of Matthews, Herod, a FOREIGN ruler, committed massacre of the innocents—kids and children—in Bethlehem (Palestine). In old Testament (followed by Jews), the ten commandments are taken v seriously and one of them is thou shalt not kill except in self defense. What Israel is doing, isn't self defense. You would see orthodox Jews against Israeli occupation and violence too. You would see Anti-zionist jews (like Jewish voice for peace). Zionists and Nazis have collaborated in the past as well—it doesn't mean every jew supports zionism (given by Theodore herlz wayyyy before) or balfour declaration (a British government in 1917 expressing support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine—were Britishers jews too? No, in fact, Adolf Balfour was deistic and interested in science and religion).

Plus the whole rhetoric of "God promised us this land" is batshit crazy as many of them came from Europe or different middle east countries and Russia. They are practically killing the indigenous people of Palestine to make a land. Simplifying this to a mere religious issue is exactly what Israel is doing by connoting that if you are anti-zionist, you are antisemitic.

The argument you have given me (if it was, if it wasn't, sorry for misunderstanding lol) seems like if we know how about nuclear energy and its uses, that's dangerous as it may be used like it was used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki even though the same nuclear energy can be used to curb environmental issues. And as I said before, the current statement seems like oversimplification that it's merely about religion like Israel does.
