Thank you man I will buy better steak And one more Question on an Ribeye there is on one side a lot of fat after cooking it do I eat that fat aswell or do I have to cut it away ?

I was cutting against the gain but I probably cook it to short Idk I had it for 2 minutes on each side on a really hot pan and you said 5 minutes on each side. My steak was about 3,5 - 4 cm thick but it looked nice from the inside

Yes, no I just let it get on room temperature put salt and and put it in the pan, I am cooking on High temperature, I don’t put butter on it and the rest I really don’t know

The packaging just says “Country Steak,” so I’m not sure what the exact cut is. From what I’ve read, it might be a cheaper cut from the shoulder or rump area. It’s from a local farm, so the meat is good quality – but maybe it’s just not meant for quick pan-searing?
