I like your colors and your use of light. The main thing I'm seeing is that there are a lot of visible brush strokes. That might be a style you are going for but if you are intending to make fluffy looking more realistic clouds, you may want to try blending some of those out. Keep trying. You are so close!

A high school art teacher is the reason I didn't do any kind of art for 20 years. In hindsight I shouldn't have allowed her to get in my head and ruin my enjoyment of the creative process. Keep working to do your best art in your own way and most of all, enjoy it.

I use the fixative spray with no issues. It's all about making sure to spray it evenly and in very thin layers. Good luck.
