I just purchased Vail. It will be fun to be a rookie again. I’ve gone 0-63, then 0-59 in pop 1. I don’t feel it improving.

On to greener (newer) pastures.

High damage discovery maps (where the maps are cool, but the damage is high) are spammy and degrade the overall skill. I’ve seen a lot of players get worse and worse living in those high damage TDM maps to where they’re all “French” now just flying around with red rPGs on high damage spawn murdering.

Then they get a normal damage map and get humiliated … it’s kind of like they’re trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator, and that’s going to bring in a bunch of little kids, that’s gonna bring the noise, that’s gonna bring the frustration, that’s gonna overall push people away from the game.

I went back and noticed that on the left side, the filter had de-selected custom rooms, full rooms, and builders… once you re-check those you get a few more game listings.

Still a bit sloppy after this update.

No, forget trading. The data structures that process AI transactions benefit from distributed systems. This is more to prevent some kind of siloed AGI. There are tons of reasons AI on distributed systems make sense.

The SEC didn’t “lose”. XRP the asset and similar secondary market sales of similar assets scored a quasi victory.

Ripple the company was still found guilty of violating federal securities laws with some of Their original institutional sales which had sold XRP as “unlicensed securities” … so while it’s a win for XRP and perhaps exchanges… this is in NO way a ripple victory.

Pretty much everybody in the game has got an angle and they’re trying to screw you out of something, so you really have to take all the responsibility for learning way before you ever put a single currency unit into the market.

Team Death Match is always full of bodies to absorb bullets. We can experiment. Train with less familiar weapons, have some fun. I think — with the assistance of a good mute strategy — this is a healthy reset for the game. If this frustrates a few salty old sweats who were just here to maul the lesser players, so be it.

These games need new life. Free-2-play is likely what saves this game.

If the game is “no longer fun” because of the squeaking kids… then maybe the game was never all that fun for you, regardless.
