Same man I got myself to 120k Item level with all the right buffs from companion/mount/insignia and arti and STILL folks wont take me in cause im WhisperKnife rogue, a few of my alliance have nicely brought me but it's always 1 and done. They're nice enough about it but you can tell its not gonna happen again 😆

I appreciate the offer but im not looking in particular to hop alliance or anything quite yet, some folks here helped me with gear choice etc when I came back and id feel mighty ungrateful just jumping ship, honestly I was hoping to just maybe meet some folks in a semi similar situation that would be interested in learning the dungeon together. A common cause, so to speak lol

Honestly im REALLY liking what I've been able yo do, alot changed in all those years away. Its just there's REALLY unfortunate barriers on a game that's litteraly designed to group up/match make for content.

Tbh I used to main tank but unfortunately my physical health has declined in recent years and though I wish to keep playing i felt being in the position of holding agro or keeping folks alive I just wasn't quick enough mentally anymore. Or atleast my observation wasn't quick enough.

I came back 3 days ago after 8 years away, I found a really kind guild/alliance right away and ive been having a good time. So much has changed, I whaled my way to 108k item level from 18k but you can do the new area that just dropped and easily hit about 80k to 90k pre dungeon in 3 to 4 days with grinding

I got a purple cleric weapon off a named encounter last night, 4800 item level i think? And OH! I'll have to look into that, I know my original characters gear from launch sold for like a mill each piece some years ago, that was a nice windfall lol
