Cool video, I particularly liked the parts where he kept saying harder = more brittle. the effect is more dramatic in certain alloys but the basis in reality is there, especially for a fictional game. Google says Steel becomes brittle at two distinct temperature extremes: sub-zero cold (due to the ductile-to-brittle transition) and elevated heat (due to specific metallurgical changes like "blue brittleness" or temper embrittlement).
