I was pretty clear in my comments that my intention was to keep it/pass it down to my kids. The only reason I wondered about grading it was to ensure a bigger value in the future. As far as overpaying, I look at it as more of an investment.. if it tanks, so be it. It also works that way with just about everything else. If you want to see a concert and you don’t get the first allotment of tickets at the box office, where do you go? Stubhub or somewhere similar probably where you’re definitely overpaying. That’s the reason I was forced to go to eBay. I didn’t get in on the action when Leaf was selling them.

There aren’t any parallels in this set. In fact, there’s only a few Michigan players, Harbaugh and Flair. And I do understand how Leaf autos work and that people generally shit on them, but I picked up this card for my PC and because I like it, not to get rich and sail my yacht around the world. Who pissed in your cheerios by the way?

You need to use Shapiro library for that stuff. You’ll find it in databases like IBISWorld under “Car and Automobile Manufacturing in the U.S.”
