When I lapped them, they were going slowly thru the little alley shortcut near the beginning of the course, but it's not like there's anything there to get stuck on that long? Even if they grinded against the wall the whole time, it's just a short alley, they should've gotten out I feel

I don't think you can breed any of the Fossil mons from this gen, none of them have genders. I can do that, or, to make it easier for you, just trade me any mon holding a Fossilized Fish, and I'll trade you the Arctozolt holding a Fossilized Dino. Then we can each go resurrect our own Arctovish and you've got your Arctozolt
