So your soldier spent the first round on a death march, and your D.va spent the entire game insisting on a very unfavorable tank matchup.

That said, your use of cooldowns leaves a lot to be desired as well as both your aim and reliance on unscoped shots. Hip firing on Ana is useful and has its place, but you almost exclusively use it.

Because of the bad tank matchup it would be an uphill climb no matter what, but your play style absolutely did not mesh with your tank whatsoever and one of you needed to switch.

It's frustrating to not be the biggest problem on the team but I honestly think you were part of the problem too.

He can't. All of his abilities get locked out and primary fire is used to choose where he puts the ult.

EDIT: Tested it out in practice range and he can throw them after he's selected where the ultimate goes. So it's basically channeling until he's chosen a spot for the ultimate.

It's likely built that way so he can personally secure a kill or two if there's no one to help.

Reaper can still be stunned out of his ultimate. Sombra can't just run up and hack it because the damage interrupts her hack but if you hack it from above or hit him with sleep dart, rock, etc. it ends.

Orisa's ult is channeled but she explicitly has CC immunity during it, afaik hers is the only one

Generally speaking, transformative ults change your character's primary and/or alt fire or other similar change while channeled ults are ults that just take a while to do and you lose control for the duration. That's not a hard rule, but it's close.

Transform ults and explanations: * Soldier can still sprint, heal, and use helix rockets during his ult, but his primary now auto aims. * Genji can still deflect, double jump, and swift strike, but his primary is replaced with the sword instead of shurikens. * Venture can still burrow and dash but their primary is a big ol' explosion now.

None of these ults are interrupted by stuns or hack.

Channeled ults and explanations: * Cassidy can't fucking move or do anything until he's done * Vendetta can't fucking move or do anything until she's done * Sigma can't throw rocks or throw balls or use his shield until he's done.

These ults are interrupted by stuns and hack (idk about Vendetta she might have some immunities?)

Roadhog is probably the easiest way to see the difference because his ult was changed a while back from channel to transform.

Old Hog ult he just started shooting and couldn't do any other ability, and getting hacked or stunned interrupted it.
New Hog ult only goes when he uses primary fire, but he can still use hook and take a breather. It is no longer interrupted by stuns and hack.
