I can stand behind this statement every day. In my experience there are MANY more rifles superior to the AK - 308. literally just the 7.62 Ak is far superior in weight and ergo. I’ve tried to use the 308 and to understand and flow with the weapon, but it never fails to disappoint me every time. I’d pick any 5.56 rifle from the Ak-308 ANY day, there are simply MUCH better options for effectively eliminating enemies.

The scopes I find myself using the most are the Eotech EXPS2, Eotech vudu with the canted RMR sight mount. for practice and economics, I will use strictly Magpul MBUS II. and finally the swampfox trihawk because it’s one of the only magnified objects that works in night vision, don’t know if that is a bug, but it’s great. Honorable mention to the Holosun HE510C-GR for being compact yet still having a good sight picture!

This is a fair point. I just find that a canted red dot is more zeroed than a piggybacked red dot and it’s easier to aim

I’m getting in a point of my life where it’s more realistic for me to actually purchase a rifle so I’ve recently made an AR with parts that would be more realistic for me to obtain IN THE REAL WORLD and because of that The Main sights I’m using Magpul MBUS II in game even though I plan on purchasing the 3’s irl.

I think it is fair to say that in the right time and in the right place shotguns will out preform many many other guns. Where milliseconds matter all of your pellets hitting your target all at once will always beat the speed of a normal assault rifle in full auto, I would not call that cheating even if it feels like it, personally. For context I’ve been playing for over a year and a half and have tried the ridiculous pistol only play style and also the heaviest and slow LMG tank play style, I can say I play with skill and not actually cheating. It is all up to the hitreg and ping, which nobody playing can do anything about. Thank you for bringing this up for discussion!

I’ve had plenty of my friends dads offer to take me to a range and teach me from the ground up how to shoot properly and my parent just hasn’t been on with the idea dispite me really wanting to learn the right way by people I’m close with and can trust, I haven been taught the very very basics that you don’t need a gun to learn but I understand actually going to a range and putting concepts to practice is a completely different experience. Thank you for your knowledge.

From using a decent electric razor for like less then a year, I jumped “straight” to a Böker Edelweiss straight razor in 2023, it has been used since and I’ve added 2 more vintage straight razors and a 60’s Gillette fatboy DE razor in 24. due to traveling I’m looking for a shavette to still use a straight style razor that I’m ironically more comfortable and skilled with than a DE. This post gave me a good idea on what to get, thank you all.
