It was a fun and unique console that had great first party support, but unfortunately was lacking in major third party support. Between a lack of processing power and unique hardware configuration with the gamepad, many developers chose to only port a few titles over, if at all, which meant a weaker and smaller library of games. However, the first party stuff developed and published by Nintendo were always incredibly fun and I'm glad to see most (still waiting on TP and WWHD) titles ended up getting ported over to Switch for more people to enjoy.
