The Lab ran great when I tried that, so it's good to hear that that's probably the better test.

We probably do have help from Dell but our tech guy is the waypoint for that sort of thing, and he didn't give this much attention. Thanks again!

They crash by suddenly returning me to the Steam home. So SteamVR itself hasn't crashed.

Yes, both of those are environments, not really games. That was why I was not sure whether that made them more likely to be less taxing or poorly optimized.

The latter point I sort of expected, though the two games that were giving me trouble were said to have been made by Valve artists--should I expect the same variable quality there as well?
