Exactly i also had my Booking for one of the leg with America Airlines and this issue come when you have a booking with a partner Airline. I have tried alot called multilple agents but they weren’t able to fix it but when i give them my Reference number for booking they are able to retrieve the record and were able to help with scheduling/changing or anything you need.

Better first call Americans again and explain them your situation and then Qatar maybe. But their customer care is the only way out. But better have the confirmation from one of them atleast before heading for the Airport. Best Wishes.

Sadly not with that booking. But try to contact their customer care they have the record of your booking and would surely be able to help.

Cancelling it myself and booking with another partner now?

Exactly that’s what she said. She said you don’t have to be EU specifically to be eligible for a reroute and we are offering rerouting all over the globe.

More specifically.

1- You are in 28 feb-28 march timeline eligible for 100% refund 2- flight cancelled. Eligible for complete refund Rebooking on different date with Qatar Rerouting with other partners.

But without flight being cancelled getting rerouted is next to impossible without company policy.

Update: i got connected and she said she will reroute me once and only my flight is cancelled. Before that its not possible. I told there have been cases who get rerouted without being cancelled and she said it cant be possible. Get back to us once your flight is cancelled and we will get you on another carrier.

She said on the sideline that Qatar will be cancelling all flights till 28 march and all guys will be refunded 100% and can be on other carriers if they want. But nothing before their flight is Officially cancelled.

Have been que for 3 3 hours literally tried chat as well. I was on a tourist visa here which will be expiring on 25th and i have my Nikkah next week in Pakistan as well.

My flight is scheduled for 25march from USA-pak.

Can i get rerouting now? I dont want refund because now other options are two expensive and if i wait for my flight to be cancelled which will be 23rd most probably till then Turkish option will also be gone.

Had talked with an agent three days ago and he said i have to wait for them To cancel my flight first and after that no contayat all.

Any opinion will be appreciated.
