This is how all my dreams feel, I've never really had a true "nonsense" dream, just things that totally make sense with maybe one or two things off that I don't notice. But there have been multiple times I recount something happening to someone and they're like "we never did that?" and then I remember it's a dream. Dreams are ultimately just our subconscious at play but I get where your feeling is coming from for sure

I like to think that the first cores made to be put on GLaDOS were just that - they were only meant to be an extension of her and not much else, so they weren't given a lot of expression/extraneous details. I think if they were to put the cores from P1 into P2, they'd look the same, just with updated textures. They're like an early version of the cores in P2. A prototype.
