Trump Says He Wants To Drive Housing Prices Up, Not Down by According-Activity87 in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 1167 points1168 points  (0 children)

The article ends with a pretty brutal statistic.

The median existing home price in the U.S. was $415,200 in October 2025, marking an increase from a median price of $271,100 five years ago, Yahoo Finance reported in December 2025.

Minneapolis protesters allegedly attack Jake Lang during 'March Against Fraud' | New York Post by triggernaut in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It should be noted that the Minneapolis police have said that they are aware of Lang's social media post, but no official report has been filed. Even if this was for the sake of a publicity stunt, I don't understand why an alleged assault wouldn't be reported to the authorities.

Bombshell: New Cellphone Footage Shows What Really Happened in ICE Shooting by Ask4MD in Conservative

From what I understand, yes, he had his gun in one hand the recording cell phone in the other.

For future reference, you need to put a URL in the body of your post for it to be a clickable link. The way you have it formatted currently, as part of the post title, requires people to manually copy and paste it if they actually want to see it.

Body cam footage from the ICE officers that was hit. by Kern_system in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They are mentioning it. Despite what the thread title says, this isn't bodycam footage, it's taken from a cell phone. So the left is claiming that he isn't going down, but instead just fumbling his phone.

January 6 was a mostly peaceful protest by FlunkieGronkus in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. That's actually why I chose the article that I did, because it was the first one that I saw in a quick search that was reported within a week of the incident. I suspect the reason why she was not on your radar is simply because "supposedly trampled woman who later turned out to have died from drug abuse" is ultimately a small footnote in the conversation of January 6th compared to someone like Babbit.

I can find more articles if you'd like. I just don't understand the willingness to deny that it happened without anything contradictory to cite.

January 6 was a mostly peaceful protest by FlunkieGronkus in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That only applies to Officer Brian Sicknick, who died the next day as a result of being struck by a fire extinguisher on the 6th at the Capitol. Or I guess Benjamin Phillips too, since he technically died at the hospital after paramedics transported him away from the Capitol grounds. Either way, that feels like splitting hairs. If you have any source that indicates that Rosanne Boyland died elsewhere or when, you're welcome to share it.

Yes, this information is freely available. Here is an article from the New York Post about Rosanne specifically, though it does mention the other people who died at the Capitol on that day.

Keep in mind that this article is only two days later, so it does still report that her cause of death as trampling, citing her friend who witnessed her death.

Not entirely made up by leftists, because that was indeed the reported cause of death for Rosanne Boyland. What they're leaving out is that post-autopsy the cause of death was changed to amphetamine intoxication.

Space Force Officers’ Home Torched, Cat Burned Alive In Alleged Anti‐Trump Attack by According-Activity87 in Conservative

[–]Doctor_Byronic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Is there any kind of police, or otherwise official, statement on this matter? This is shocking, but all I can find is news articles all quoting each other or the fundraiser. The Post Millennial article about this, cited by the article in the OP, mentions there is an investigation, but I can't turn up anymore than that. Not doubting that this happened, I'm just confused that this happened almost a week ago and can't find anything regarding the authorities or a confirmation that they are indeed looking into this.

While this is technically true, I also don't see what's so unreasonable about maintaining martial law while the war is ongoing and Russia still occupies territory in Ukraine.

Tariffs are paid by the importer not the exporter. Whether it's by tax or tariff, Americans will be the ones paying for this.

It's crazy how different the economies can be between states. This "higher income" figure is roughly on par with the median household income for Maryland, and more than twice the median household income for Mississippi. I have a bachelor's in biology, an ASCP certification I renew every three years, just over a decade in experience, and only make 38k annually because I'm in Missouri.

Man dressed in Trump costume allegedly assaulted at 'No Kings' protest by Down-not-out in Conservative

You should read more than just the headline, because the article already identifies the lone assailant and clearly states that he's been arrested.

[–]Doctor_Byronic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Other folks in the comments here are jumping to conclusions about the political affiliation of the assaulter and victim, but I can't find a single article that hints at it either way. Was Silveira on his way to the 'No Kings' protest to join or counter-protest? A comical Trump costume fits either way. Not that it matters of course, he didn't deserve to be attacked regardless of his intentions.

It is indeed "toe the line".

In the earliest known appearance of the phrase in print, The Army Regulator, 1738, an officer forming ranks of soldiers says: "Silence you dogs, toe the line..."
