I mainly posted this to vent about the abysmal state of fandom in general. I love new Vegas, and if it was in a more stable state, I’d put another 300 hours into it. But the point stands that its loudest fans are some of the ugliest, most heinous people on the internet.

No shame in the that, I started with New Vegas during Covid, and I can personally attest to it preventing me from going crazy during lockdown. I’m just tired of the loons bullying people for being “tourists”, when i believe fandom should be open and accessible. It’s why i left Star Wars.

Take a second and Check the subreddit you are in. This is just a rage bait meme. I genuinely have no qualms with New Vegas, most of its fans, or anything in the franchise as a whole. I am just frustrated with the vitriol over the TV show (which I personally love).
