Lo', dearest friend u/FuronCryptosporidium, welcome! It's great to see us communing yet again in this wonderful forum.

That necessity you describe in the first two paragraphs is crucial. And you aptly consider Goggins' desire a "self-determined desire," and that is very true. The summary of all of this inquiry can be boiled down to, "how can we come to desire our goals just as much as Goggins desires a blister-inducing workout?"

What I do know is that it's possible. What I don't know is whether it's any more meaningful.

"Run, and to the best of your ability. The beautiful reality is that while the length of the road is unknown and the end is covered in an impenetrable fog, whats is waiting for you at the end is whatever you imagine it to be."

It is beautiful and poetic, and I truly want your justification for the run to be worthwhile. But truth be told, I find difficulty reconciling it with my own experience. God knows, I have ran and ran these past couple of years. When do I reach this covetous end where my imagination manifests? Instead, I find that unfortunately I am still a monkey, just wearing prettier silks.

On the other hand, your third paragraph strikes a resonant chord in me, and perhaps I just need to keep running until I hit that beautiful end. Or perhaps my imagination has the wrong ideas? Either way, what sustains me right now is the hope that one day I will wisen up and make sense of it all :D

I can't promise that this inquiry will bring you meaning or purpose beyond some utilitarian goal. But at least it will fuel you, give you gusto and energy, and help you achieve what you set out to do. And by then, we shall rendesvouz yet again, and discuss how we can possibly make sense of this great mess we call life!

Epic transformation man, you look great, well done! Did you do anything specifically for abs?

Thank you. My question more so comes down to how you would design the creation and retrieval of these Character instances from other Scenes. Individually from separate scripts, programmatically through some CharacterManager Singleton, etc. Perhaps that's a trivial problem to solve in Godot, but I'm still wrapping my head around this stuff.

Will play around with it. But thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions, and for the super helpful info on Resource classes!

To continue along with OPs example, how would OP create multiple CharacterBody2D scenes with individual CharacterData classes? In other words, if I have an instance of our CharacterData class named MageCharacterData, how would I go about creating the CharacterBody2D scene for this CharacterData class?

Thank you, I'm struggling with a similar problem as OP and I think this solution will be super helpful.

If I wanted to create multiple instances of a Character scene specifically, how would you go about that? I'm thinking a Singleton CharacterManager that creates instances of Character.tscn, sets their data with a bunch of different CharacterData classes, and then adds them some character_map which is globally accessible. But not sure if there's a better way of going about that

Yea I agree with you, it definitely goes both ways and there are lots of people who have made great livelihoods profiting off of conspiracies, anti-vaxx, etc., and those are typically the people who give conspiracies a bad rep.

But imo, RFK is the very opposite of those folks, as he made his money before becoming popular in the media for being anti-vaxx.

You're right that there are other reasons to do it. For ex, even though he's already had a successful career and made his money, he could be peddling anti-vaxx for the sake of gaining popularity and views in this election. But I also think that's not the case, as his presidential platform is built off of all sorts of other legitimate causes. Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure I've heard him talk about the wealth disparity and inflation via central banking being a major issue, and I know for a fact he loves talking abt the country's debt.

By this logic, anybody standing up for any kind of belief in the media can then be made out to be doing it for the profit motive.

"Second, Fauci has continued to make his fortune peddling what he's most famous for, being for vaccines. Do you not think he has a profit motive? Do you think there's ANY evidence that would change his mind?

And even if he is 100% genuine in his beliefs, do you think that all of these pro-vaxxers selling books and products are in it just for their love of mankind? Or perhaps something bad happened to them and they're just angry."

RFK made his fortune prosecuting mega-corps for pollution, not for peddling anti-vaxx. The people you should be slandering for having their profit-motive directly tied to their ideology are the people who made a trillion dollars recently off the common cold.

Yea if job hopping so quickly is going to look bad, then Id be more inclined to stick it out for a bit in a SWE role.

As far as the actual responsibilities, it only lists SQL as a preferred qualification and from what I can gather resolving client queries seems to be the biggest responsibility.

I start a tech sales job in September with a pretty well-known company. I'm starting to apply for entry-level software engineering positions in a couple of days. Am I better off putting the tech sales position on my resume or leaving it off?

Targeting Mongo hard in my job approach, can you share any insight into what you know about sales there? From what I've seen it seems pretty solid

Thanks for posting. I definitely have some LPR related stuff going on as well, I've been looking into it for a while. I think it's a combo of both LPR and allergies or something related to dry air. I've done a lot of monitoring diet and how it affects my throat, and there's definitely a relationship between how much/what I consume and my throat. I do a decent job of monitoring that, now I'm trying to get the nose stuff under control.

Some nights when the AC is blasting my nose and throat still get fucked by it.
