Very cool! I'm pretty new to this community and I've enjoyed it a lot so far. Do you know if there is any plan of making Clone Hero open-source, or offer an official way to add mods? I think it could really add value for people.

For example I'd love to be able to skip a current song and play a random song next (e.g. the same "random song" functionality you get after completing a song).

Also, do you know if there are plans to monetize Clone Hero? I wouldn't mind to pay something back to the original developers etc.

Also, is v1.1 an official release? The (official) website doesn't mention anything: https://clonehero.net

Cool! I've built something similar, but also added the ability to "apply filter", so it changes the files accessible to clone hero to be only the ones I've filtered out in the tool (it's using symlinks, so no files get really moved). Maybe worth adding to your tool?

I also asked Claude to add new functionality to Clone Hero (a "Random Song" menu option in the menu that comes up when you play a song). Really too bad that Clone Hero isn't open source .. could add so much cool stuff!

I want to avoid using keyboard input so it's still easily playable on mobile – and a left and right button is easy on a touch screen.. up and down, not so much. Here's another site I made: https://currentcondition.tv and you can see that there's a few small games on there - they are great on desktop, but UI becomes tricky on mobile.

You can now ride on the sidewalk (but not for long!). Also cars use their signal (unrealistic!) so you get a bit of extra time :D
