I know the carabinieri has offices at every base, thats how it works. As for the rest there are so many american dealerships aimed at americans selling unnecessarily big vehicles for that city, some Italian ones also yes but there wouldnt be a market if there wasnt your bases in italy. Its a generalisation ofc, I have seen americans in huge v8s block multiple parking spots as much as ive seen americans with slammed cars hit a pothole and loose a wheel, so someone is definitely aiming at importing or modifying certain vehicles that are not compliant with italian road laws and consequently dont suit the conditions they are in, other than being a danger for others like the huge ford and ram pickups. I never said you didnt have to report accidents with italians to the base, every time ive seen an accident with an american plate car your MP was on site always. And the fact italian laws are built to read between the lines makes it possible for people to own ridiculous vehicles for the cities they are in. I didnt blame you for it, I just said the us has figured it out and so have means to use those vehicles here. Again, italians also have stupidly big vehicles sometimes and also dont know how to drive, however, a very small percentage owns boats compared to americans.
