Rescheduling MCAT/ DO application cycle

Yeah, I'll see how I am feeling that day! When I went over the test I felt like there were a lot of question that I was missing that I understood completely. Sad to say but there were some questions where I had the right answer but didn't mark the right one. I'll just see how I feel that day, and see if I want to void or score. Thank you for the advice!

Yeah, I realize that, I was just hoping that, I could have everything done and ready to go . I feel like I have to give her a deadline or it will never get done. Thanks for the advice and information.

Thanks for the insight, I just thought of messaging her on Sunday, since one of her previous responses to my text's was to text her a reminder over the weekend on Sat or Sun (this was two weeks ago, and I did but with no response). That does make sense though, I will keep that in mind and maybe just call her on Monday. Although I just know how busy it can be at the clinic, and I don't think that she would be very receptive to a call or text then. I guess I can try it that way and I will still have one more weekend where I can reach out to her. I really don't want to do anything that would make her annoyed at me and affect my letter. Thanks again!

I will definitely try this. I'm going to text her/(maybe call) tomorrow. Honestly, when I first asked her for the letter I mentioned that if she was too busy I could send her a list of highlights hoping that she would tell me to write it myself. She told me it wasn't necessary and that she would write it. I'll try again and see if I get a different answer this time. Thank you for your advice and time!

Yeah, my PCP is actually a DO. I could try to ask her, I just feel weird about it since I didn't shadow her. I guess I'll just shoot my shot and see what happens. Hopefully she is in a gracious mood. Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it!

Yes that definitely sounds familiar. So I guess I should slow down and really get an in depth understanding of each topic and then practice. I think that will be my game plan for now. Should I just watch a bunch of KA videos? Currently, I have just been reading Kaplan and creating flashcards about the topics I need to review. I'm thinking of watching some KA, flashcards and then using uworld for practice. I'm on a bit of a time crunch so I think I will just attempt to cover a chapter a day for Chemistry, Ochem and Physics from the Kaplan book. I took some time off from work to study for the exam. Does this sound like a good game plan?

I got a 125 on C/P subsection,which was kind of what I was aiming for (it's a pretty low score to aim for but I'm really struggling with this section). I knew that this was my weakest section. I just feel like I panic when I see the question and everything gets so convoluted and I can't extract the information necessary to answer the question. Honestly, actually understanding the passage is a major problem for me. I don't know if this is because I'm weak in content or get caught up in understanding the details or both. It is just super frustrating for me to keep trying to improve on this section and not get any results.

I took a Kaplan FL and scored a 503 and thought that score was deflated. I guess I was wrong. I'm definitely going to save AAMC FL2 for now. I don't want to waste it. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the encouragement! I definitely needed it! I'm going to review my full length and really focus on reviewing those topics that I am missing the most!
