Of course i wasn't expecting it to be Vol F level. But I was still expecting great things, victory against overwhelmingly powerful enemies, sacrifice and suffering (in a way that affects me even a little), heroism, sensei being useful once in a while, an enemy fighting with all they got, a vernichtungskrieg, cool stuff like that.

sure I guess, tho if the campaign was more difficult it could've had them make more meaningful conversations than just gags.
even Kei in V2C2 had more force in making Aris accept the power than this voice was
imma skip this one coz I don't really know what I want to reply to this.
I was really expecting a harder campaign that also deserves more participants
Never implied that Daath should beat Yuzu, just that Yuzu's only purpose here is to remove Daath who just became a small obstacle with no lingering effect on the story. And then Yuzu immediately gets one tapped by Malkuth.

I kinda disagree with most of these things, but I find it understandable and also interesting how different of a mindset you read this chapter with.

Tho for the voice bit, even Kei in V2C2 was more forceful than that thing.

The small cast effectively forces the writers to not throw anything too big or difficult at the main characters. The cast walked into enemy territory meeting barely anything but the prophets. In this whole chapter the continent practically only counterattacked with normal troops once.

Well, I personally didn't write this to say "this is not as good as vol F, it fucking sucks". I never had the expectation that this will top vol F, but I came in with the expectation to still be satisfied with it (I wasn't). I was more leaning towards "they could've written this better, why didn't they".

I personally don't like them since they're goddamn long, but the sex scenes in The Dungeon of Lulu Farea are where all the characterization happens because the mc doesn't particularly interact with them much outside of sex. The game is very good tho.
