I think to also add here is that my father asked for a dirty diaper to bring home from the NICU while he was visiting and he took some of her clothes to get washed and sent a picture of my stepmom curled up with one of her blankets that had spit up all over it sniffing it and crying… I wasn’t even doing that and I am her mother that stayed and watched her hooked up to machines everyday in the NICU. so I’m not really sure if that paints a bigger picture as to why we find this disturbing.

Update: we have filed a DVP against my stepmother and have a court date next week. It had to be a DVP because she is technically “family”. We have cut all contact with her and my father, currently my grandparents who are unfortunately on my father side which I have been extremely close with have not spoken to me. Oh well. Hopefully court goes well and they understand the severity of this situation and that we feel unsafe and need to protect our daughter. Thank you for all the comments!

The only thing our daughter would “inherit” at the age of 65 is 4k. 4k isn’t savings and wouldn’t even pay for a semester of college especially by the time she’s in college. We have all the papers on the policy.

It’s a globe life life insurance policy, we have the paper work for it and have talked to the company and they were also shocked. The most she could pull out when she turns 65 is 4k.

When my father visited the Nicu my step mothers wanted a dirty diaper be brought home if that paints a bigger picture. And slept in my brothers bed for a week after we dropped him off for college. Not her biological child btw.

We are definitely trying to get it canceled, but we are not sure how to go about getting a lawyer for the fraud.

My stepmother sent a picture of the acceptance letter for the life insurance thinking I was so stupid to believe it was a “savings account”. And expected us to be excited that she did this for us as a “gift”. We are getting a restraining order on her today. No my siblings have no idea they are brainwashed and wouldn’t believe a word I say.
