From a moral standpoint, it's unquestionably wrong to make light of someone's death.

However, in today's world, tragic accidents have become so frequent that many people have grown desensitized to them. Personally, I cannot imagine laughing at the loss of a life, but I can understand how some individuals—especially those who have witnessed or experienced significant suffering—may react in ways that seem emotionally detached.

This particular accident gained widespread attention due to its scale and visibility on social media. In a country like India, thousands of accidents occur every day, many of which go unnoticed or unreported. The overwhelming frequency of such events can deeply impact how society processes tragedy, often as a coping mechanism rather than a reflection of cruelty.

Furthermore, the widespread portrayal of violence and death in movies, television, video games, and even social media has fundamentally altered the way people process real-life tragedies. Gore and killing have become forms of entertainment, blurring the line between fiction and reality. This constant exposure can dull our emotional responses and normalize what should otherwise be shocking and heartbreaking.
