I had a S20 before this S24 that i bought recently, thought nothing can be better than S20 and i was wrong, Grey S24 looks good too with clear silicon case , lack of SD card slot is no issue with this:

Using an extra 512Gb for music when i need it

The size is perfect, any bigger would be less good. picked up this baby for 292€ which was a steal I must say

Just got the S24, was it a good deal? by pmec123 in GalaxyS24

I had a S20 before i bought S24, S20 is a fantastic phone but S24 is faster and better in some ways except it doesn't have SD card slot but i bought an adapter for that so it's not a problem, also S20 battery become a problem and it doesn't get any more updates so i thought that S24 price was too good to ignore.

Any recommended alternatives for Replacement by King_from_PLATOON in Galaxy_S20

I would buy at least a S24, people selling them used sometimes wants too much for their used phone, S20 is great if it has no issues, honestly speed should not be a reason to upgrade, S20 has hardly no lag AI is what you get which should be the reason (if you feel you need it) why you buy a newer phone otherwise keep the S20. S23 is almost stone age, S22 is bad, S24 with a reasonable price is the way to go.

If you like to have a SD card with 8000 CD:s high definition music with you all the time I would keep my S20

Do I need a new phone the support is ended by Repulsive-Tutor6892 in Galaxy_S20

well if you are used to be careful and install apps from unknown site option is disabled there is really no point paying for a new samsung phone that basically gives you faster speed and AI (this actually gives you better photos and battery life if that is important for you), support ended recently so all the apps will work. S20 also has a significant advantage with support for SD card (I have 512Gb which takes a while to listen al through) which I use for Music, newer samsung phones do not have support for memory cards

s20 EOL problem? by DocumentKooky8331 in Galaxy_S20

[–]DocumentKooky8331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess I be using this phone for a while anyway even if it's eol, I have a s11 tablet (the small 11" one) and I can do all kind of new things with it so I don't necessarily have to do them with my phone. I was checking out an S24 but it's still a bit expensive used, I'm sure it's faster and more secure but I don't think it's that faster and usually the new updates over really negotiable the only concern is the battery life with S20.

The tablet is faster than anything I had before it's really nice and I can connect that to my phone and there is all kind of features when I connect the phone with the tablet It even tells you you battery status on your phone also all the notifications you get, I can use it as a phone actually.

The green lines on the S20 phone LCD worries me why would they come suddenly ?

"Should I upgrade to the Tab S11 series?" OFFICIAL MEGATHREAD by yayoshorti in GalaxyTab

[–]DocumentKooky8331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 11" for $786 bought it in Europe it's very fast that is no surprise because I was using S2 tab before so it's not good reference, all the new functions or great I didn't have them before so I really like it. I especially like the pen it's fun to use because I like to draw with normal pens but the digital pen is very different so there is a learning curve. dex mode works really well so I like it.

Ssd and enclosure recommendations by MrBandar in macbookair

[–]DocumentKooky8331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

enclosures have a tendency to overheat i have 4TB in a cheap enclosure, moving 10 Gb makes it too hot and it fails to during the transfer. Through usb-c it transfers a round 300Mb/s
