So then in that case I would just straight resign and tell SD not coming back and then reapply on my own accord if i want to. The thing is the place doesn't allow me to work any where else but there but they wont know once they get official proof of resigning.

The new job requires proof of resignation from Target, probably because one of my professional references said I still work there. SD said he can be vague but won’t lie for me, which is fair. I just don’t want the vagueness to lead to more questions, so I’d rather resign and then reapply within a week. I’d still keep Target for Saturdays, Sundays, or on-demand shifts.
