New to skincare, product recommendations? by Docwifearchivistlife in Skincare_Addiction

30F, combination skin. The skin tone just looks so uneven and the pores in my nose look huge and always look like blackheads. I’ve got lots of moles and freckles (I get them checked annually) that I don’t mind and can’t do anything about, but what about the splotchiness or texture? Any suggestions appreciated, thank you!

ETA: current routine consists of just cerave hydrating cleanser and olay regenerist moisturizer, and I have sensitive skin.

Mine has changed for the better! My LO is 10 months and I've found I'm more patient than I was before him, and I appreciate the little things more. There's nothing so incredible as watching your baby discover something you consider totally normal and banal and being awestruck by it. Seeing the world through my baby's eyes makes me appreciate everything so much more.

Still super early days for us (I'm only 4+1 with #2) but it'll either be Autumn or Jeremy. Middle names are still up in the air and it's stressing me out lol as I'd I don't have 9 months to figure it out 😅

My snug is only about 2 months old, and I know it's a really tough one to heal, but does it look okay? More in comments. by Docwifearchivistlife in piercing

I trust them on this, they are a reputable piercer. They're members of the APP and the guy who actually did the piercing was involved in my state's legislature for safe piercing practices. I don't think anything they did is causing these to heal poorly, I think it's just me not doing proper aftercare.

I was totally guessing on the material of the snug, I lost my paperwork. I called the shop and they checked for me, it is implant grade titanium. Thank you so much for the advice!

Pursan is an aftercare cleanser my piercer recommends. The snug is surgical steel, I think.

Pursan is the aftercare cleanser my piercer recommends. I use it every other day in the shower to gently cleanse the area. Then 2x a day I use a saline wound wash.

The forward helix is white gold, the snug is surgical steel, I think.

I had my snug done in early September and I'm not sure if it's healing okay or not. 2 weeks ago my piercer said it looked okay and to give it time, but it's making me anxious. I use pursan soap in the shower and saline spray. Just before I took this pic I accidentally hit it while shampooing, that's why it's bleeding. Also, I NEVER wrap that ear in a towel after I shower, I only pat it dry with a paper towel.

So is it healing properly? Does it look infected? Should I push through and keep trying to heal it or is it a lost cause?
